The days of institutionalizing orphans and pairing them with mismatched families should be a thing of the past, and no child should ever be treated like a burden on society. Our ambitious new programme offers an alternative.
Muslim Aid’s Rainbow Family children are entrusted into the care of the most suitable host families. To enable them to care for the child in the best way possible, we provide carers with a complete range of resources which ensure stability. With a more holistic approach being taken, the scheme is set up to provide support in every form, from the emotional to the educational, for both child and the family. The key word here is Nurture, vital to any child’s development, which requires more than just financial aid. That is why we provide our Rainbow Family children with everything from the basics such as food and clothing, to healthcare, a good education, a mentor and even a trust fund for their future.
